LFS Companion is a local insim application I've been working on for the last week or two. Its primary purpose was to keep track of what was happening in the chat, and display it in the application as well as a full- dark mode application.
After getting good feedback on it, I'll be making it public and be developing it further. Here are some of the existing features: - Dark mode - Read chat from within the application window - Send messages from application to LFS chat - In-game UI that displays speed, rpm, fuel percentage, lights, handbrake etc. - Fully customizable in-game UI using insim buttons. - In-game options to customize settings like fuel warning, show/hide UI etc. - In-game modules to toggle messages like car contact, object contact etc.
LFS Companion Showcase
The insim connects to insim port 29995 by default and outgauge port 25000, but it can be changed in the insimconnection.json.
LFS Companion is likely to ask you to download the runtime. You can find that here: microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0
Important notice For the insim to read numbers from your LFS, you need to go into the cfg.txt in your LFS folder and set the OutGauge port to 30000 and ip to 127.0.0.1.
Download LFS Companion
LFS Companion checks for updates when it starts up, so this should be the last time you'll need to download it manually. I've included the .net runtime files, so there is no need to download .net runtime mentioned above.
